I Trust You

Psalm 23 is a well-known passage from the Bible that talks about God being a shepherd who takes care of his people. The passage starts off by saying that God provides everything that we need, like food and water. He makes us feel peaceful and rested, even in difficult times.

When we are scared or going through tough times, God is there to comfort and protect us. He guides us on the right path and gives us the strength to keep going, even when things seem impossible. The psalm ends by saying that God's love and kindness will always be with us, and we will live with him forever.

Guided prayer: “God, I may not have certainty in the future, but I trust you. I know that you’re looking out for me at every turn. You know my needs before I do, and you know how to take care of me. Thank you for being so kind to me. Amen.”

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.
