Women's Bible Study:
RVL Discipleship Season 1

JaNary 7 - MArch 18

In RVL Discipleship: The Study, we will join renowned teacher and Bible scholar Ray Vander Laan as he examines what it means to be a follower of Christ through the cultural, historical, and otherwise contextual lens of Scripture.  In January-March we will study season 1 of RVL Discipleship: The Study.

Jesus’ original disciples really knew their Bible. As modern-day followers of Jesus, it is vitally important that we value Scripture in the same way. Season 1 of The Study outlines how we are meant to interact with the Text: 1) approaching it from the context in which it was written; 2) exploring how Jesus used the Scriptures in His teaching; 3) understanding how His followers were meant to be changed by what they learned; and 4) identifying the major paradigm that ties the whole Bible together.

As women, building authentic community and genuine friendships in a large church can feel like a daunting task. Let's start by getting to know each other and sharing our stories over a cup of coffee. Raising little humans is hard work-let's create a community of moms who can encourage each other and point each other back to God as our sustainer and joy through this busy season of motherhood.

The Garden Gatherings are monthly times to come together and hear from an encouraging speaker, meet new friends, connect with a mentor mom, and be refreshed as a mom through laughter, uninterrupted conversation, and the encouragement that you are not alone as a mama.

FEAST

June 20 - 21

Jesus often taught through stories, and many times He taught as people gathered around a table or meal. Imagine sitting around that ancient table filled with a feast, hearing stories come to life.

While we can’t go back to sit at that table, there is a table we are invited to. Join Kristi McLelland at Feast—an event where we gather to feast upon God's Word. This is a journey that's more than an event—it's an experience to taste and see the goodness of God that has nourished souls for generations. Come and take your seat at the table.
